BLM to Repatriate Human Remains Dating to 6500 Years Ago
WASHINGTON, July 17 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management is preparing to repatriate ancient human remains discovered in Nevada to Native American tribes. This action under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act ensures the remains are returned to appropriate lineal descendants, Indian tribes or native Hawaiian organizations.
