WASHINGTON, July 8 -- The Ground Water Protection Council, OKlahoma City, Oklahoma, has submitted a public comment letter to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) expressing strong support for Arizona's application to gain primacy for its Underground Injection Control (UIC) Program. The council, representing state agencies administering UIC programs nationally, believes that Arizona is well-equipped to manage the program effectively.
