Ky. PSC: Regulators Approve Service Territory Swap Between Kentucky Utilities
WASHINGTON, June 24 -- The Kentucky Public Service Commission has approved a land-swap agreement between two electric providers. The decision finalizes the "Electronic Application of Kentucky Utilities Co., Lexington, for Authorization of Changes in Service Territory with Inter-County Energy Cooperative Corp., Danville, Kentucky" (2024-00327). The order allows the two utilities to adjust their service boundaries to improve efficiency and correct a mapping error.
