Hood Museum of Art Returns Ancestral Remains, Objects to Numerous Tribes
WASHINGTON, June 15 (TNSFR) -- Dartmouth College Hood Museum of Art in Hanover, New Hampshire, has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects. The museum has determined a cultural affiliation between these items and a broad group of Native American tribes, in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.

LSU Museum Amends Repatriation Notice for Caddo, Choctaw, Other Tribes
WASHINGTON, June 15 (TNSFR) -- The Louisiana State University Museum of Natural Science in Baton Rouge has amended a previous notice of inventory completion regarding human remains and associated funerary objects. This amendment, issued in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act, clarifies the culturally affiliated Indian Tribes.
