WASHINGTON, May 28 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service is updating its regulations governing imported tobacco, removing outdated provisions related to mandatory inspection and pesticide testing.
This direct final rule from the Agricultural Marketing Service aligns with Executive Order 14192, which seeks to eliminate regulations with expired authorizing statutes or those that govern non-operational programs.
