STB Grants BNSF Railway Trackage Rights Exemption to Expire Under Agreement With Union Pacific
WASHINGTON, May 3 (TNSFR) -- The Surface Transportation Board (STB) has granted BNSF Railway Company's (BNSF) petition to allow its trackage rights with Union Pacific Railroad (UP) to expire at midnight on December 31, 2025. This decision follows an agreement between BNSF and UP concerning restricted, local trackage rights over two rail lines owned by UP in California.
