Elko County, Texas, Petition for Reno TV Market Access Dismissed by FCC
WASHINGTON, May 2 -- The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has dismissed a petition filed by Elko County, Texas, seeking to modify the satellite television market of several Reno, Nevada television stations to allow their carriage in the Texas county. The order, released May 1, 2025, by the FCC's Media Bureau, states that the dismissal is without prejudice at the request of the petitioner.
