WASHINGTON, March 23 (TNSFR) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Defense Army Corps of Engineers have announced a new initiative to engage stakeholders on key aspects of the "waters of the United States" (WOTUS) definition, following the Supreme Court's 2023 decision in Sackett v. Environmental Protection Agency. The agencies will hold listening sessions and solicit public recommendations to refine regulatory interpretations under the Clean Water Act.
