WASHINGTON, March 19 (TNSFR) -- The Alfred W. Bowers Laboratory of Anthropology, University of Idaho, Moscow, has completed an inventory of human remains in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) and has determined a cultural affiliation between the remains and several California-based Indian Tribes. The remains, which originated from sites in Contra Costa and Alameda counties, were rediscovered in 2024 during an internal review of the collection.   more
