FERC Delays Environmental Assessment for Mine Falls Hydroelectric Project
WASHINGTON, Feb. 28 (TNSFR) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has announced a revised timeline for completing its environmental assessment of the Mine Falls Hydroelectric Project in Nashua, New Hampshire.
The City of Nashua submitted an application in 2021 to relicense the 3-megawatt facility, which has been under review by FERC staff. Initially, the environmental assessment was expected to be issued in February 2025, but the agency now anticipates releasing it in May 2025. Th
