TOPEKA, Kansas, Feb. 5 -- The Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC) has granted Merit Energy Company, LLC an exception to the 10-year time limitation for temporary abandonment (TA) status for its Alexander 2-33 oil well in Haskell County. The decision, issued in Docket No. 25-CONS-3209-CEXC, allows the well to remain inactive for an extended period.
