Marshall University Completes Repatriation Inventory for Native American Remains
WASHINGTON, Jan. 18 (TNSFR) -- Marshall University has completed an inventory of human remains, identifying them as belonging to at least one individual of Native American ancestry. The remains, discovered in September 2023 within a collection at the university's Geology Department, were linked to the Huntington Mound in Cabell County, West Virginia.
