Maine PUC Approves Bangor Natural Gas Debt Issuance
AUGUSTA, Maine, Jan. 15 -- The Maine Public Utilities Commission (PUC) has approved Bangor Natural Gas Company's request to issue up to $40 million in long-term debt to finance its acquisition by Unitil Corporation. The PUC order, issued on January 14, 2025, allows Bangor Gas to issue senior unsecured notes with maturities of up to 30 years at a fixed coupon rate not exceeding 7.60%.
