Fla. U.S. Attorney: Jacksonville Woman Sentenced to 8 Years in Federal Prison for Supervising Armed Drug Trafficking Operation and Laundering More Than $1 Million
JACKSONVILLE, Florida, Dec. 17 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida issued the following news release:
U.S. District Judge Harvey Schlesinger has sentenced Yaquasia Delcarmen (28, Jacksonville) to eight years in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute 50 kilograms or more of marijuana and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The court also entered an order of forfeiture of $1,760,210, the proceeds of the drug trafficking conspiracy. Delcarmen pleaded guilt
