WASHINGTON, Dec. 7 -- The Democratic Governors Association issued the following news:
Today, America's Democratic governors voted to elect Kansas Governor Laura Kelly to continue serving as Chair of the Democratic Governors Association for a full one-year term in 2025. The governors also voted for Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear to serve as Vice Chair in 2025 and Chair-Elect in 2026. The vote occurred at the DGA's Annual Meeting held in Los Angeles, California.

Judge Henry Green Jr. to Retire From Kansas Court of Appeals
TOPEKA, Kansas, Dec. 13 -- The Kansas Court of Appeals issued the following news release:
Court of Appeals Judge Henry Green Jr. will retire March 3 after 32 years on the bench, making him the longest-serving judge on the court to date.
A native of Leavenworth, he was appointed to the court in 1993 after a career in private practice in his hometown and working for the federal bankruptcy court in Kansas.
