BATON ROUGE, Louisiana, Dec. 10 -- Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill issued the following news on Dec. 9, 2024:
Attorney General Murrill announced that Louisiana received $1,400,289 from a settlement with Marriott International, Inc. A coalition of 50 Attorneys General reached settlements as the result of a multistate investigation into a large multi-year data breach of one of its guest reservation databases. MONTPELIER, Vermont, Dec. 10 -- Vermont Attorney General Charity Clark issued the following news release on Dec. 9, 2024:
The Attorney General's Office announced that Emily St. Peter, 46, of Rutland, Vermont, was arraigned today on one count of felony Medicaid Fraud. The charges brought against Ms. St. Peter are the result of an investigation conducted by the Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud and Residential Abuse Unit (MFRAU), which found Ms. St. Peter had falsely billed Medicaid for services
