Iowa U.S. Attorney: Cedar Rapids Man Sentenced to Federal Prison for Possession With Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine and Cocaine
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, Dec. 5 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa issued the following news release on Dec. 3, 2024:
A man who committed a drug trafficking offense was sentenced today to 14 years in federal prison.
Darryl Fonte Jackson, age 51, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, received the prison term after a July 1, 2024 guilty plea to one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Iowa U.S. Attorney: South Dakota Man Sentenced to 15 Years in Federal Prison for Firearm and Drug Charges
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa, Dec. 5 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa issued the following news release:
A Sioux Falls, South Dakota man and Guatemalan national was sentenced on November 26, 2024 to 15 years in federal prison for possessing a distribution quantity of methamphetamine and possessing a firearm as a felon and in relation to his drug trafficking.
