W.Va. U.S. Attorney: Ohio County Man Sentenced for Drug Charge
WHEELING, West Virginia, Nov. 6 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia issued the following news release: Geon Thamar Newby, Jr., 37, of Wheeling, West Virginia, was sentenced to 63 months in federal prison for the distribution of cocaine base. According to court documents and statements made in court, Newby, also known as "G" and "Gee," sold cocaine base in Ohio County. The United States argued that Newby was responsible for distributing up to 840 grams   more
