BW's Own Composer-in-Residence Wins Prestigious Cleveland Arts Prize
BEREA, Ohio, Sept. 11 -- Baldwin Wallace University issued the following news:

Dr. Clint Needham '04 is both a BW graduate and has served on the BW Conservatory of Performing Arts faculty since 2012.
Dr. Clint Needham, professor of composition and composer-in-residence at Baldwin Wallace University, is the 2024 recipient of the Cleveland Arts Prize for Mid-Career Artist.
He is one of three people chosen for the juried arts discipline prizes, which come with a $10,000 award.

Columbus Receives Federal Grant to Support Migrants and Refugees
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Sept. 11 -- Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther issued the following news release:
The City of Columbus has been awarded new federal resources to aid some of the city's newest and most vulnerable neighbors. The Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Shelter and Services Program has awarded the city a $6.6 million grant to provide shelter for immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
