House Administration Committee Issues Report on Federal Election Audit Act
WASHINGTON, Sept. 4 -- The House Administration Committee issued a report (H.Rpt. 118-465) on the Federal Election Audit Act (H.R. 4555), which aims to amend the Help America Vote Act of 2002 to allow the use of requirements payments to conduct a post-election audit with respect to an election for Federal office in a state. The report was advanced by Rep. Bryan Steil, R-Wisconsin, on April 17, 2024.
