ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Sept. 1 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Alaska issued the following news release on Aug. 30, 2024:
The leader of an extensive transnational drug trafficking organization was sentenced to 28 years in prison on Wednesday for running a conspiracy that trafficked vast amounts of dangerous drugs to Alaska.
