450th Movement Control Battalion receives sendoff
FORT BRAGG, North Carolina, July 11 -- The U.S. Army Reserve Command issued the following news:
MANHATTAN, Kansas
The 450th Movement Control Battalion (MCB) conducted a Farewell Ceremony for an upcoming deployment to CENTCOM at the Larry Norvell Band Shell in City Park on June 22, 2024.
The ceremony honored the men and women, who volunteered to sacrifice their time with Family and friends to provide sustainment support for Operation Spartan Shield.

MAXWELL AFB, Alabama, July 12 -- The U.S. Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol issued the following news:
For the first time in Civil Air Patrol history, the outgoing national commander and CEO, Maj. Gen. Edward D. Phelka, and his incoming successor, Brig. Gen. Regena Aye, are both recipients of the Gen. Carl A. Spaatz Award, the highest honor a CAP cadet can earn.
