City Council Approves ARPA Funding for Owner-Occupied Home Repair Program
SPARTANBURG, South Carolina, July 11 -- The city of Spartanburg issued the following news on July 10, 2024:
On Monday, City Council voted 5-1 to approve a plan to partner with Northside Development Group to use $600,000 of the City's American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding for an owner-occupied home repair program for city residents in low- and moderate-income areas. Council member Rob Rain voted against the plan, and Council member Meghan Smith was absent from the meeting.
