COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 2 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio issued the following news release:
A Central Ohio man who founded and served as the superintendent of two Columbus charter schools pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court here today to conspiring to commit bank fraud.

Ohio U.S. Attorney: Ohio Man Sentenced for Trafficking Counterfeit Goods
CLEVELAND, Ohio, July 2 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio issued the following news release:
Shane Burdue, 46, of Toledo, Ohio, was sentenced to 14 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Jack Zouhary trafficking in counterfeit goods. He was also ordered to serve two years of supervised release and pay $4,081.50 in restitution to the Coalition to Advance Protection of Sports Logos (CAPS).
