Senators Collins, King Announce More Than $200 Million Contract Awarded to Bath Iron Works
WASHINGTON, June 17 -- Sen. Susan M. Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release:
Senators Susan Collins and Angus King announced today that the U.S. Navy has awarded Bath Iron Works (BIW) a $202,733,090 contract for Planning Yard Services for the DDG-51 Class Guided Missile Destroyer program and the decommissioned FFG-7 (Oliver Hazard Perry class) frigates.
