Sen. Butler Joins Colleagues in Calling for Protection of IVF Access
WASHINGTON, June 15 -- Sen. Laphonza Butler, D-California, issued the following news release on June 13, 2024:
Today, Senate Democrats will vote on the Right to IVF Act--a critical piece of legislation that would guarantee women's access to fertility treatment. Unfortunately, Senator Butler was not able to join her colleagues due to a positive COVID-19 test. Had she been able to attend the vote today, she would have voted YES to protect this essential right to reproductive health care.
