Idaho A.G. Labrador Sues the EPA and Biden Administration to Stop New Rule Violating State Water Rights
BOISE, Idaho, June 1 -- Idaho Attorney General Raul R. Labrador issued the following news release:
Idaho Attorney General Raul Labrador, along with attorneys general from North Dakota, Alaska, Iowa, Nebraska, South Carolina, and South Dakota, sued the EPA and the Biden Administration to protect state rights over their water and wildlife resources. Idaho and North Dakota are leading the coalition of states, which filed their complaint in the U.S. District Court in the District of North Dakota.

Iowa U.S. Attorney: Akron Man Sentenced to 30 Years in Federal Prison for Second Meth Conspiracy Conviction
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, June 1 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa issued the following news release:
A man who conspired to distribute methamphetamine was sentenced in federal court in Sioux City on May 30, 2024, to 30 years' imprisonment.

More Than 18,000 Pounds of Unused Medication Removed From Communities in Five State DEA Omaha Division
OMAHA, Nebraska, June 1 -- The U.S. Justice Department's Drug Enforcement Administration's Omaha Division issued the following news release:
Community members across the five state Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Omaha Division safely disposed of 18,614 pounds of unwanted and unused medications at the 26th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day event held April 27. Nationally, DEA and its law enforcement partners collected 670,136 pounds of medications at close to 5,000 sites.
