Richland County Seeks Public Input on Proposed 2024-2025 Budget
COLUMBIA, South Carolina, May 15 -- Richland County issued the following news:
The County welcomes feedback from the public on its operating budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which begins July 1, 2024, and ends June 30, 2025.
An in-person public hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. May 23 in Council Chambers at the Richland County Administration Building, 2020 Hampton St., Columbia. The meeting will stream live on the County's YouTube page (https://www.youtube.com/user/richlandonline).

Spartanburg City Council Approves Five-Year Consolidated Plan for Federal Housing Dollars
SPARTANBURG, South Carolina, May 15 -- The city of Spartanburg issued the following news on May 14, 2024:
At their meeting on Monday, Spartanburg City Council unanimously approved the 2024-2028 Consolidated Plan for Federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding. The plan guides the City's allocation of HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership funding, and is a requirement the City must meet to receive those funds.
