NHTSA Proposes Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for Electric Vehicle Safety
WASHINGTON, April 15 -- The U.S. Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a proposed rule (49 CFR Part 571), published in the Federal Register on April 15, 2024, entitled "Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; FMVSS No. 305a Electric-Powered Vehicles: Electric Powertrain Integrity Global Technical Regulation No. 20, Incorporation by Reference."
