SIKESTON, Missouri, March 7 -- The Missouri Department of Transportation issued the following news on March 6, 2024: The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on March 6. Contracts included pavement improvements and bridge washing. Contracts included the following: * A $183,800 contract was awarded to AAD Contracting, Inc., for washing the bridge on Interstate 155 over the Mississippi River in Pemiscot County.   more
