Entergy: $37 Million Substation Enhances Reliability in Northwest Mississippi
JACKSON, Mississippi, March 7 -- Entergy issued the following news release:
Entergy Mississippi has completed construction of a new distribution substation in the Snowden Grove Park community, near Tchulahoma Road in Southaven. The substation is a part of a $37 million project, which included constructing nearly two miles of new transmission lines, 12 miles of new and rebuilt distribution lines, and 74 new composite poles.

SIKESTON, Missouri, March 7 -- The Missouri Department of Transportation issued the following news on March 6, 2024:
The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on March 6. Contracts included pavement improvements and bridge washing.
Contracts included the following:
* A $183,800 contract was awarded to AAD Contracting, Inc., for washing the bridge on Interstate 155 over the Mississippi River in Pemiscot County.
