KENTUCKY POWER: AEP FOUNDATION GRANT PROVIDES K-12 ENERGY EDUCATION SUPPORT, TRAINING
ASHLAND, Kentucky, March 7 -- Kentucky Power, an American Electric Power company, issued the following news release on March 6, 2024:
The American Electric Power (AEP) Foundation recently awarded $42,000 to the National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project. The grant, awarded at the recommendation of Kentucky Power, will support energy education in local schools.
NEED was originally established 40 years ago as a one-day celebration of energy education when National Energy Education Day
