HSI Nogales case results in firearms trafficking indictment for Nogales man
WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued the following news release:
NOGALES, Ariz. -- On Feb. 21, a federal grand jury indicted Jose Rene Murrieta, 30, of Nogales, on one count of smuggling goods from the United States, felony receipt of a firearm, and conspiracy to smuggle firearms out of the United States to promote a felony. U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona: Cocaine Trafficker Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison
TUCSON, Arizona, Feb. 28 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona issued the following news release:
Manuel Alejandro Beltran-Quintero, 35, of Tucson, was sentenced last week by United States District Judge Jennifer G. Zipps to 120 months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release.
