Gaston County: Police Investigating Fatal Crash
GASTONIA, North Carolina, Feb. 26 -- Gaston County issued the following news on Feb. 25, 2024:
A Gaston County Police Officer was involved in a motor vehicle wreck on Saturday night while responding to a shooting call outside of Bessemer City. The crash, which occurred near the intersection of West Franklin Boulevard and Webb Street, resulted in the death of a citizen and the hospitalization of the officer.
