Army Corps of Engineers: Public Meetings Scheduled for Mississippi River Study
NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana, Feb. 17 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-New Orleans District issued the following news release:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host public scoping meetings for the Lower Mississippi River Comprehensive Management Study (LMR Comp) at venues throughout the study area between Feb. 27 and March 11.

Miss. U.S. Attorney: *Corrected* Former Economy Inn Managers Sentenced for Conspiracy to Distribute Controlled Substances
GULFPORT, Mississippi, Feb. 17 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Mississippi issued the following news release:
Two former managers for the Economy Inn in Bay St. Louis were sentenced on February 14, 2024, for their involvement in a conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
