Caltech on Path to Decarbonize
PASADENA, California, Jan. 3 -- The California Institute of Technology issued the following news:
President Thomas F. Rosenbaum has endorsed recommendations by the Caltech Sustainability Advisory Council to decarbonize the Institute's purchase and production of electricity.

Direct Relief: Resilient Power Proves a 'Lifesaver' for Mississippi Health Center After Catastrophic Tornado
SANTA BARBARA, California, Jan. 3 -- Direct Relief issued the following news:

Spain Increases Its Renewable Share But Soon May Need to Replace Its Windmills
WASHINGTON, Jan. 4 (TNSres) -- The Institute for Energy Research issued the following agency statement:
Spain continues to generate more electricity from renewable sources as its renewable share of electricity rose to 50.8 percent in 2023 from 42.2 percent in 2022. According to a draft government report issued in June, Spain's goal is to raise the share of renewables to four-fifths by 2030.
