Hoffman Honors Scholars Honor University of Cincinnati Alumnus
CINCINNATI, Ohio, Dec. 5 -- The University of Cincinnati issued the following news:

The estate of Hugh Hoffman, MBA '63, has established a new scholarship program at three University of Cincinnati colleges. A $56 million gift will create the Hoffman Honors Scholars Program and support student-athletes with an extraordinary endowment.
News of Hoffman's bequest was announced in September 2023. It is the largest donation to scholarships in UC's 200-plus-year history.

ODU Board of Trustees Names Michael A. Grandillo Interim President
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 5 -- Ohio Dominican University issued the following news:
Ohio Dominican University's (ODU's) Board of Trustees appointed Dr. Michael A. Grandillo to serve as interim president during its meeting on Dec. 1. He succeeds Connie Gallaher who will retire in December 2023 following the completion of the fall semester. Grandillo will begin his service at ODU on Dec. 6 as president-designate, and will assume the presidency on Dec. 16, 2023.
