SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Oct. 28 -- Utah Attorney General Sean D. Reyes issued the following news on Oct. 27, 2023: Yesterday, the Utah Attorney General's Office presented oral argument in U.S. Chamber of Commerce v. SEC at the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Utah Deputy Solicitor General Christopher Bates argued the case on behalf of a 26-state coalition supporting the U.S. Chamber, asking the appeals court to reverse a lower court decision upholding an SEC rule recission.   more
