Justice Dept.: Corn Milling Company Pleads Guilty to Making False Statements in Safety and Environmental Records Following Mill Explosion
WASHINGTON, Sept. 30 -- The U.S. Department of Justice issued the following news release on Sept. 29, 2023: Didion Milling Inc. pleaded guilty to criminal charges today in federal court in Madison, Wisconsin. As part of a plea agreement, the company has agreed to pay a total of $1 million in criminal fines and $10.25 million in restitution to victims of a May 31, 2017 catastrophic explosion at its Cambria, Wisconsin, corn mill facility. Wis. U.S. Attorney: Wausau Man Sentenced to 7 Years for Possessing Methamphetamine for Distribution
MADISON, Wisconsin, Sept. 30 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, Timothy M. O'Shea, issued the following news release on Sept. 29, 2023: Timothy M. O'Shea, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Trenton McCorkle, 27, Wausau, Wisconsin was sentenced today by Chief U.S. District Judge James D. Peterson to 7 years in federal prison for possessing 50 grams or more of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. This prison term will be  more
