Arizona Commerce Authority: Ascent Aviation Services And Israel Aerospace Industries Sign Agreement To Establish New Aircraft Conversion Site In Marana
MARANA, Arizona, Sept. 28 -- The Arizona Commerce Authority issued the following news on Sept. 26, 2023:
Marana Aerospace Solutions (Ascent Aviation Services) and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) have signed a long-term agreement to establish a conversion site and carry out passenger-to-freighter conversions on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Center for Biological Diversity: Jaguar Caught on Camera in Southern Arizona's Huachuca Mountains
SIERRA VISTA, Arizona, Sept. 28 -- The Center for Biological Diversity issued the following news release:
A wild jaguar has been photographed by federally run trail cameras in southern Arizona's Huachuca Mountains at least twice this year. A U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service database that tracks jaguar detections lists two photos in March and May 2023.

PCC Awarded $3 Million Federal Grant to Help Hispanic Students Pursue College Degrees Online
TUCSON, Arizona, Sept. 28 -- Pima Community College issued the following news release:
Pima Community College has been awarded $3 million over five years to help Hispanic and other low-income students complete college degrees online. The grant is part of the U.S. Department of Education's Title V (Developing Hispanic Serving Institutions) HSI grant.
