The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the cities of Antigo, Schofield and Washburn are applicants for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) to improve their public drinking water systems.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the dates for fall open houses at two fish hatcheries and two fish spawning facilities. Over the next month, the DNR will host open houses at the Governor Tommy G. Thompson Fish Hatchery, Besadny Anadromous Fish Facility, Root River Steelhead Facility and the Wild Rose Fish Hatchery.

MADISON, Wisconsin, Sept. 16 -- The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release on Sept. 15, 2023:
Due to the exceptional and prolonged drought conditions and potential for elevated fire danger, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will reinstate DNR burning permits by issuing a Special Fire Order in 12 southern Wisconsin counties.
