Approximately 65 Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 445th Aeromedical Evacuation and Aeromedical Staging Squadrons trained with their counterparts from the 911th Airlift Wing, Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station, Pennsylvania, at two locations during Steel Buckeye, August 2-3.

Changes to Base Access for DOD Civilian Retirees Goes Into Effect Aug. 31, 2023
WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, Ohio, Aug. 30 -- The U.S. Air Force Wright-Patterson Air Force Base issued the following news:
After August 31, 2023, Department of Defense civilian retirees will be required to show a registered REAL ID card for base access.
The implementation of the REAL ID Act has eliminated the requirement for DoD Civilian Retiree ID cards and are no longer being issued. Previously issued retiree ID cards will no longer be valid after August 31.
