Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville Awards Maintenance Dredging Contract for IWW in the Vicinity of Matanzas Inlet
JACKSONVILLE, Florida, Aug. 30 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Jacksonville District issued the following news release:
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, awarded a contract Aug. 28, 2023, for maintenance dredging of the IWW federal navigation channel in the vicinity of Matanzas inlet in St. Johns and Flagler Counties, Florida.
The $5.9 million contract was awarded to Southwind Construction of Evansville, Indiana.
Dredging is anticipated to start in November and continue
