Immigration & Customs Enforcement: HSI Tucson, Multiagency Investigation Sends Firearms Smuggler to Prison for 60 Months for Conspiring to Smuggle Firearms Into Mexico
TUCSON, Arizona, Aug. 23 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued the following news release:
A southern Arizona man was sentenced Aug. 15 to 60 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release for smuggling weapons from the United States into Mexico following an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI); the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
