RALEIGH, North Carolina, July 13 -- The North Carolina Department of Commerce posted the following news release on July 11, 2023:
Honda Aircraft Company, maker of the renowned HondaJet light aircraft, will develop and produce a longer-range version of the plane at its Greensboro facilities, creating 280 jobs Governor Roy Cooper announced today. N.C. State: Bacterium Associated With Disease Found in N.C. Chiggers
RALEIGH, North Carolina, July 13 (TNSjou) -- North Carolina State University issued the following news release:
A bacterium that causes a disease called scrub typhus - a disease not previously reported in the United States - has been detected in North Carolina, according to a new study by researchers at North Carolina State University and UNC-Greensboro.
The researchers stress that scrub typhus, which can cause fever, headache and body aches - and can be fatal if left untreated by antibiotics
