Today, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) announced a new memorandum of understanding with Xcel Energy to work toward providing federal facilities in Minnesota, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin with 100% carbon pollution-free electricity (CFE) by 2030.
