U.S. Department of Commerce Invests $1.7 Million to Expand Truck Driver Workforce Training Efforts in North Carolina
WASHINGTON, June 7 -- The U.S. Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration issued the following news release on June 6, 2023:
Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced the Department's Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $1.7 million grant to Guilford Technical Community College, Jamestown, North Carolina, to construct a truck driver training facility on the college's East Greensboro campus.
