BISMARCK, North Dakota, May 17 (TNSper) -- The North Dakota Newspaper Association issued the following news:
NDNA board elections
Cole Short, editor of the Hillsboro Banner, has been elected president of the North Dakota Newspaper Association board of directors.
Short was elected Saturday, May 13 at the association's annual convention near Devils Lake. He succeeds succeeds Amy Wobbema, owner/publisher of the New Rockford Transcript and Foster County Independent, Carrington.

The 2023 NDNA Better Newspaper Contest winners were announced May 12th during the NDNA/SDNA joint convention at Spirit Lake Casino near Devils Lake, ND. Mike Gackle, president of the former newspaper company BHG Inc. was honored as the 57th inductee into the North Dakota Newspaper Hall of Fame at the Friday night ceremony.

The Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) today announced the election of North Dakota Department of Financial Institutions Commissioner Lise Kruse as the new chair of the Board of Directors.
