GREENSBORO, North Carolina, May 18 (TNSrpt) -- The city of Greensboro issued the following news:
The Planning Department's latest quarterly GSO2040 Comprehensive Plan report on implementation progress made across the City toward reaching growth goals is now available online.
This update summarizes some of the most important projects and trends shaping Greensboro. A few examples are:
* Two new, small area plans are in the process of being adopted: the Fleming Road Area Plan and the East Gate C

ECU's EC Scholars Renaming Reflects Donors' $30 Million Commitment
GREENVILLE, North Carolina, May 18 (TNSfund) -- East Carolina University issued the following news release on May 17, 2023:
In a milestone moment for East Carolina University, Chancellor Philip Rogers, on Wednesday, announced a combined $30 million commitment to the institution from Robert Gentry Brinkley '78 and Amy Woods Brinkley and Lewis Patrick Lane III '67 and Lynn Lewis Lane.
The EC Scholars program will now be known as the Brinkley-Lane Scholars program to honor their investment.
