Second WC-135R Arrives at Offutt AFB
OFFUTT AFB, Nebraska, May 13 -- The U.S. Air Force Offutt Air Force Base (55th Air Wing) issued the following news:
Team Offutt officially welcomed it second WC-135R Constant Phoenix aircraft to its fleet as tail number 64-14831 arrived May 11, 2023.
The first WC-135R, tail number 64-14836, was delivered in July. This is the second of three the 55th Wing will receive as the Air Force modifies KC-135R Stratotankers to replace the now retired WC-135C/W fleet.

The USGS and Agencies From Four States Announce Low-Level Airplane Flights in the Central Great Plains
WASHINGTON, May 11 (TNSres) -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Geological Survey issued the following news release:
The new airborne geophysical survey data will be collected using an airplane and will fly over parts of northwest Iowa, northeast Nebraska, southwest Minnesota, and southeast South Dakota, weather permitting. The survey will begin in mid-May and be completed in about four to six months.
